Meet Clare
Meet Jo
My love of the ocean, drive for adventure and my competitive nature is what has enticed me to take on this epic challenge of rowing the Atlantic Ocean.
This will test my mind and body to the limit. It would also be great to show other women that we can be strong physically, mentally and can do anything we set our minds to.
London girl born and bred. I moved down to the Essex coast in my twenties.
Spending the next twenty years thinking the Estuary was beautiful, I had my “Oh s**t, what now?” moment and thought I’d try coastal rowing… and found both a passion and a tribe.
Meet Sheila
I spent my life by the sea and as a really young kid I sometimes feared it, but now I revel in its beauty and power, and more than ever I understand how much I need it, how much it gives me and how all of us need to protect it!
I’ve spent my life swimming in it, the last 15 years rowing it and 7 years advocating for it – as a surfers against sewage rep.
Meet Sam
Being born and living on the picturesque Mersea Island, you cannot help but have an inherent bond with the sea.
Now on the precipice of my most daring adventure yet, I am excited to team up with three remarkable Wild Women on a journey that will test my mettle and spirit.
